Il GX PRO è stato progettato per seguire i comandi dal sistema Garmin G3X EFIS. Il G3X fornisce una guida completa EFIS al pilota automatico, senza i soliti segnali di azionamento ARINC 429. Il GX PRO accetta comandi proprietari NMEA dal G3X per implementare una guida orizzontale e verticale completa.
