Per il funzionamento IFR e funzionalità di navigazione avanzate, i proprietari di aeromobili possono utilizzare il GAD 29B per interfacciare fino a due navigatori GTN o GNS e / o un sistema di traffico attivocome il GTS 800 con i dispositivi G3X.

Inoltre con il GAD 29B il G5 di Garmin può trasferire indicazioni di prua e di rotta a terzi parti come Century, Cessna/ARC, Honeywell/Bendix King ed autopiloti S-TEC.

Garmin GAD 29B

For IFR operation and advanced navigation capabilities, aircraft owners can use the GAD 29B to interface up to two GTN or GNS navigators and / or a GTS 800 active traffic system to the G3X.

With the GAD 29B, the G5 H.S.I. can drive heading and course error out to third party Century, Cessna/ARC, Honeywell/Bendix King, an S-TEC autopilots.
