L' AV - 12 è un ricevitore VOR solo antenna che utilizza una tecnica estremamente efficiente di stampaggio degli elementi direttamente in un alto impatto termoindurente bakelite isolante centrale . Gli elementi in acciaio inossidabile vengono usati per chiudere le tolleranze per fornire un basso profilo. L'antenna è progettata per funzionare ad una velocità fino a 350 mph e altitudini fino a 50.000 piedi . Ha una forza di resistenza aerodinamica di 0,92 lb @ 250 mph.

The AV-12 is a VOR receive only antenna which uses a highly efficient technique of molding the elements directly into a high-impact thermo-setting bakelite center insulator. The stainless steel elements are ground to close tolerances to provide a low profile. The antenna is designed to operate at speeds up to 350 mph and altitudes up to 50,000 ft. It has a drag force of 0.92 lb @ 250 mph.
